The deposit is refundable at the end of the tenancy, subject to any valid deductions. The TDS provides an independent dispute resolution service for deposit-related disputes.
International students may pay termly or annually. Monthly payments may be accepted in exceptional circumstances.
Bank transfer
A guarantor may be required if the applicant does not have sufficient income or if there are issues with the application. The applicant must demonstrate an income of 2.5× the rent to meet the affordability criteria; otherwise, a guarantor may be requested. The guarantor must typically be a parent, guardian, or another suitable person. The guarantor should be in full-time employment with an income of 3× the monthly rent and/or own their home. The guarantor must complete a separate application and pass a credit check. International guarantors are accepted for international students.
